The “Dreama” has become a reality for five private practices across the United States. FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. has begun shipping brand new FCR Prima digital x-ray systems to the winners of its Prima Dreama online video contest, transitioning from analog to state-of-the-art digital x-ray imaging technology. One facility was selected from the entrants in each of the five private practice categories.

• Veterinary: Quarryside Animal Hospital, Jamesville, NY, “The Neighbor’s Cat”

Contest entrants were asked to submit a video or a typed description and accompanying digital image reenacting the funniest or most unusual event that has occurred in their office. More than 50 entries were received, and over 150 have registered; a panel of judges including physicians and representatives from industry publications selected the winning videos and stories which can be viewed on the contest Web site, www.primadreama.com and on www.fujiprivatepractice.com.
