Fujifilm Medical Systems just introduced a new version of its technologist workstation, the “FDX Console.” The new workstation offers a wide variety of advanced features and benefits to the user, including more customized tools for every facility's and technologist's preferences. The FDX Console also offers newly enhanced image processing called Dynamic Visualization™. This new tool recognizes the region of interest and automatically applies the optimum processing, producing the highest quality first-up diagnostic images. Dynamic Visualization™ not only offers a more dynamic range of the final image but also allows for the histogram analysis to collect more clinical data while streamlining the customer’s workflow. The new processing will enhance the image appearance, especially in the more difficult exposures such as lateral spine examinations and bariatric studies.
