The tornado that struck Joplin, Missouri, left behind complete devastation and heartbreak. It also destroyed Joplin’s main hospital known as St John’s Hospital. The community of Joplin is moving ahead to rebuild, and has already begun plans to put a temporary hospital together. Fujifilm Medical Systems wanted to do something to help the hospital get started and donated a new FCR Go 2 portable x-ray system. By donating the FCR Go 2 portable x-ray system, we hope to help St John’s Hospital, which is affiliated with Sisters of Mercy Health systems, have access to our newest radiology equipment so they can be ready to image patients as soon as the hospital is up and running.

Fujifilm Medical Systems believes in giving back and offering support to help those affected by tragedies such as the tornado that occurred in Joplin.

Our thoughts are with the people of Joplin, Missouri, and other areas recently affected by tornados throughout the United states. We hope they can rebuild and start anew soon.
